The short version

Be kind. This is a place of grief and love. Create memorials only for animals you knew, upload only photos you have the right to use, and write to others the way you would at a graveside.

The service

PawFlame lets you create digital memorial pages for pets, light digital candles, and leave messages. Free memorials include a candle that burns for 7 days; the yearly candle ($19) burns for one year and can be renewed — renewal is never automatic. Memorial pages themselves do not expire. We donate 15% of every purchase to no-kill animal shelters and publish those donations.

Your content

You keep all rights to what you upload. You grant us permission to display it on the memorial page and in shared previews (that is the point of a memorial). You confirm you have the right to share every photo and text you upload.

What is not allowed

No spam, no advertising, no harassment, no content about people without their consent, no fake memorials, nothing unlawful. We may hide or remove content that breaks these rules and, in serious cases, block access. We do this rarely and carefully.

Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. If something went wrong with your purchase — a double charge, a mistake, a change of heart within 14 days — write to hello@pawflame.com and we will make it right.

Our promises and limits

We work to keep every memorial online and every flame burning. Still, we provide the service "as is" — we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, and our liability is limited to the amount you paid us. If we ever had to close this place, we would give you notice and a way to export your memorial.

Changes

If these terms change in any meaningful way, we will note it here with a new date. Continuing to use PawFlame means you accept the current terms.
